As the ADON you are responsible Provide mandatory in-services which are in compliance with State and Federal guidelines. Develop standardizes lessons plans for employee orientation and in-services
  • Ensure that all nursing personnel in our facility comply with established standards, practices and regulatory requirements for the highest quality of resident care.
  • Support the development and implementation of nursing department budgets in coordination with the facility administration.
  • Implementing compliance and quality improvement policies, programs and procedures.
  • Function as a Staff Development Coordinator for the facility; maintaining regulatory compliance for education for all departments.
  • Function as Employee Health nurse; maintaining employee health records per state and federal regulations.
  • Provide mandatory in-services which are in compliance with State and Federal guidelines
  • Responsible for the development of standardized lessons plans for employee orientation and in-services
  • Maintain adequate records of in-service programs attended by all staff
  • Function as the Employee Health nurse at the facility and in this function be responsible for making sure the policies and procedures on employment and annual physical exams be implemented
Requirements:
  • Staff Education experience preferred
  • Required license: Current PA state RN license
  • BSN or master's degree in Nurse preferred
  • Current IV certification preferred
  • Long term care experience: 2 plus years
