As the ADON you are responsible Provide mandatory in-services which are in compliance with State and Federal guidelines. Develop standardizes lessons plans for employee orientation and in-services
- Ensure that all nursing personnel in our facility comply with established standards, practices and regulatory requirements for the highest quality of resident care.
- Support the development and implementation of nursing department budgets in coordination with the facility administration.
- Implementing compliance and quality improvement policies, programs and procedures.
- Function as a Staff Development Coordinator for the facility; maintaining regulatory compliance for education for all departments.
- Function as Employee Health nurse; maintaining employee health records per state and federal regulations.
- Provide mandatory in-services which are in compliance with State and Federal guidelines
- Responsible for the development of standardized lessons plans for employee orientation and in-services
- Maintain adequate records of in-service programs attended by all staff
- Function as the Employee Health nurse at the facility and in this function be responsible for making sure the policies and procedures on employment and annual physical exams be implemented
- Staff Education experience preferred
- Required license: Current PA state RN license
- BSN or master's degree in Nurse preferred
- Current IV certification preferred
- Long term care experience: 2 plus years
