ADON / Staff Educator (RN)

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) / Staff Educator to join our team. This leadership role is responsible for staff development, regulatory compliance, and supporting high standards of resident care within our facility.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide mandatory in-services in compliance with State and Federal guidelines

  • Develop standardized lesson plans for employee orientation and ongoing in-services

  • Maintain accurate records of all in-service programs attended by staff

  • Ensure nursing personnel comply with established standards, practices, and regulatory requirements to deliver the highest quality of resident care

  • Support the development and implementation of nursing department budgets in coordination with facility administration

  • Implement and monitor compliance and quality improvement policies, programs, and procedures

  • Function as the Staff Development Coordinator, maintaining regulatory compliance for education across all departments

  • Serve as the Employee Health Nurse:

    • Maintain employee health records per state and federal regulations

    • Ensure policies and procedures regarding pre-employment and annual physical exams are implemented and followed

Qualifications

  • Current Pennsylvania (PA) RN license (Required)

  • BSN or Master’s degree in Nursing (Preferred)

  • Current IV certification (Preferred)

  • Minimum of 2 years long-term care experience

  • Prior staff education experience (Preferred)
